Sanctuary care at crossnore

 

The Crossnore School began its journey of adopting a model of care, The Sanctuary Model, in 2008.  This 3-year implementation process, consisting of a lengthy self-study and 2 day site visit, was realized with certification being achieved in 2011.  The Crossnore School recently celebrated its recertification in the model in 2014.  The Sanctuary Model is a trauma-informed framework around which an organization operates.
