From the CEO
Welcome to The Crossnore School, where miracles happen every day. For over one hundred years The Crossnore School has provided a Christian sanctuary of hope and healing for children in need. As a nationally recognized Residential Education Model, we provide a state-of-the-art public charter school on the campus of a beautiful 85-acre children’s home. Our holistic model allows us to care for and nurture each child’s mind, body and spirit. Our on-site medical care, trauma-based therapeutic services and wide variety of extra-curricular and enrichment activities make us a unique place for children to live, learn and prosper. Our children come to us from all over NC and range in age from 1-19, and we have special focus on keeping sibling groups together. Please come visit us the next time you are in the high country. You can have lunch and coffee at our wonderful student-led Miracle Grounds Café and Creamery, or you can shop at our 10,000 square foot thrift store the Blair Fraley Stales Store. Don’t miss our amazing Appalachian weaving museum and fine arts gallery, Crossnore Weavers and Crossnore Fine Art Gallery. We are private non-profit 501c3 organization and we exist because of wonderfully generous donors and supporters.
Blessings,
Brett A. Loftis J.D., CEO
